What we store
Your business details (name, type, address), the items you track, and the daily sales and waste numbers you enter or upload. We use these only to give you forecasts, impact figures, and advice.
Who can see it
Only you. Your data is stored in a secure database with access rules that keep each business's data private to its owner. An overall admin view shows only combined totals across businesses, never one business's private detail. The public "Our impact" page shows aggregate totals only.
Outside services
We fetch local weather from Open-Meteo using your location, and address suggestions from OpenStreetMap. We do not sell your data.
Your control
You can edit or remove your items and logs at any time, and remove demo data with one click. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your data.
Simple terms
PrepWise gives estimates to help you reduce waste; it does not guarantee specific savings. Forecasts and impact figures are approximate and improve as you log more data. Use your own judgment for purchasing and prep decisions.
